One of the most iconic domes of the Netherlands is getting a second life in Amsterdam. In the past, the Amsterdome (formerly known as Aviodome) hosted the aviation museum at Schiphol, now it offers accommodation to an event location that is operated by Teka Groep. The Aviodome has been demolished and rebuilt with recycled materials, and renamed to Amsterdome.<\/p>\n
It is the first circular event location in the Netherlands! There is a floor area of 5,000 m\u00b2 in total with a plenary hall that can accommodate up to 1,000 people. Cocoon is responsible for the seam seal<\/a><\/strong> of the roof which is a self-sustaining roof meaning no beams are used to uphold it.
