Damen Shipyards Group employed us to help raise an icebreaker so that it could float and be moved. Moving a ship of such a size is only possible by increasing buoyancy. To achieve this they had to raise the ship half a meter.
Part of the increase was achieved by attaching airbags to the side of the icebreaker. The other part of the increase had to be realized by sealing various hatches to increase buoyancy. This was achieved with the help of Cocoon.
